Initial Assessment  

Complete and submit our Assessment form located on our inquiry page and we will appraise the information provided by you, the client, and advise on the best strategy for further research into your Family History. Include all the information on your ancestor(s) that you currently have and we will inform you of all existing documents, in the Louisiana archives which are relevant to your family history. When the initial assessment is completed, we have a number of genealogical services to offer, should you wish to expand your research into your family roots. We will report on the family, the history of the family name and all records remaining which specifically relate to your family. We will also submit a written report outlining all research undertaken, all sources consulted etc. When completing our inquiry form please be as concise as possible. Providing some or all of this information helps us find your family records. You can find this information by talking to older relatives, searching through family documents or through local, state or national records. We guarantee a quick reply. Due to the nature of genealogical research, we cannot guarantee a positive result every time.

  We charge $40.00 per hour of research with a three-hour minimum plus copy fees (copies sent to the client and for my files) and postage. You, the client should determine the initial amount of time to be dedicated to this project. I do request prepayment of the first three hours of research before I begin my work ($120.00). This is our exploratory search. We also offer a standard and a comprehensive search. Each search may need laser eye surgery provides a different level of service depending on the information needed and the client's budget. The client will be billed for the copy and postage fees. Part of my research time is spent reviewing the information the client has provided, planning my course of action, and composing my final report. Additional research may be required to meet the needs of the client. After the initial two hours of research, the client will make the decision whether to continue with additional research. I am able to research various types of records including birth, census, death, marriage, and obituary. Please remember that genealogical research does take time and often involves collecting data from external sources and results may not be available immediately.
